FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT REMOTE LEARNING
Remote Learning
Teachers will be setting remote learning for pupils all pupils. Pupils can access this by selecting their year group above. This will direct them to the online platform used by their year group. Pupils in Key Stage One (Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) will use Seesaw and Key Stage Two pupils will use Google Classroom. A parent guide to using SeeSaw is available on the above - Google Classroom is very much pupil led and your child should be comfortable with using the platform as it is also used in during in-class teaching on a regular basis
Logins
Google Classroom requires your child's school email address and password. They should know this, but you require a reminder, please email your child's class teacher in the first instance or admin@cottagegrove.co.uk if you do not have the teacher's email address.
Seesaw requires a unique home-learning code to be sent to you. You should have received this recently, but if you require a reminder, please email your child's class teacher in the first instance or admin@cottagegrove.co.uk if you do not have the teacher's email address.
Resources
We have a number of internet resources available via the red 'Resources' button at the top of this page. These are learning resources that pupils are welcome to access whenever they like in addition to the work set by class teachers on Seesaw or Google Classroom.
Mobile/Tablet Apps
Both Seesaw and Google Classroom are available as apps on mobiles and tablets. Click the link below to locate the correct version for the device required. Note: Pupils will find it much easier using Google Classroom on a Laptop/Chromebook. If you do not have a device like this available, the Google Classroom App is a good alternative. Chromebooks are available for pupils to loan - please contact admin@cottagegrove.co.uk to request one for your child
